Bryce Hall is a cornerback for the National Football League team the New York Jets. He went to Virginia to play college football.
While attending Bishop McDevitt High School in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, Hall primarily played wide receiver, although he was also occasionally employed in the defensive backfield.
The only other FBS school that offered him a scholarship was Coastal Carolina, but he decided to attend Virginia instead. He was a two-star prospect. His athletic accomplishments, particularly on the offensive side of the ball, earned him his initial commitment to the University of Virginia.
Hall switched from wide receiver to cornerback in order to get playing time as a true freshman in 2016, and he quickly rose to the position of starter on the defensive line. During his second season, he developed further and started every game.
Hall, who was first among all collegiate players in pass breakups his junior year, considered entering the 2019 NFL Draft and even received feedback from the NFL’s Draft Advisory Board. Hall made the announcement that he would return to UVA for his senior year after Virginia defeated South Carolina in the 2018 Belk Bowl.
