D. J. Reed, also known as Duane Dennis Reed Jr., is a well-known cornerback for the New York Jets of the National Football League. He is 1.75 meters tall and weighs 88 kg. Reed attended Bakersfield, California’s Independence High School. During his high school football career, he totaled 13 touchdowns, 1,150 yards of total offense, six interceptions, and five forced fumbles.
He was the only athlete in school history to play basketball and football and win MVP honors in both of those sports. He made the choice to play football for the school’s Fresno State Bulldogs. He redshirted in 2014 as a true freshman at Fresno State. After that, he transferred and attended Cerritos College for a year.
