American football cornerback Rachad Wildgoose Jr. plays for the New York Jets in the National Football League. He is 87 kilograms and 1.78 meters tall. He was conceived on June 20, 2000, in Miami, Florida, the United States of America, by Keweshia Patterson and Rachad Wildgoose Sr. Rachad was a student at Northwestern High.
He pledged to play college football for Rutgers in April 2017, and in May of that same year, he changed his mind. Once more, he pledged to Georgia in June 2017 and withdrew in January 2018. He made his commitment to Wisconsin in February 2018, and after enrolling there this time, he played collegiate football for the Wisconsin Badgers at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
In 2018, he made 29 tackles in 10 games with 7 starts. He participated in all 13 of the games in 2019 and recorded 22 tackles and one interception. In 2020, he participated in just two games during his third season. He skipped a fourth season of play and instead entered the NFL Draft. The Buffalo Bills selected him in the sixth round of the 2021 NFL Draft.
He agreed to a four-year rookie contract with the Buffalo Bills on May 13, 2021. On August 31, 2021, he was released, and the following day, the Buffalo Bills practice squad re-signed him. He was promoted from the Bills practice squad to the active roster of the New York Jets in November 2021.
