Professional footballer Anthony Brown is the quarterback for the National Football League’s Baltimore Ravens. He played football and went to St. John Vianney High School. He was chosen to serve as the team’s starting quarterback for the junior campaign. He ran for 839 yards and eight extra touchdowns that season in addition to throwing for 2,198 yards and 25 touchdowns.
As a senior, he ran for 604 yards and scored nine touchdowns in addition to throwing for 2,298 yards. He was chosen for the first team All-State squad in addition to being named the Shore Conference’s football player of the year.
He enrolled at Boston College after completing high school, where he played college football for the Boston College squad from 2016 to 2019. Boston College first-year Brown sported a redshirt. He completed 134 of 258 passes for 1,367 yards, 11 touchdowns, and 9 interceptions as the second freshman in school history to start a game.
In 2020, he changed universities and started playing football with the Oregon Ducks of the University of Oregon. He played primarily in goal-line situations and made his Ducks debut in the 2020 Pac-12 Football Championship Game, completing three of four passes for 17 yards and two touchdowns. He was chosen to serve as the Ducks’ starting quarterback in 2021. He was hired by the Baltimore Orioles in May 2022 as an undrafted free agent.
