Anthony Almein Brown Jr. is Anthony Brown’s full name. He participates in professional football as the quarterback for the National Football League’s Baltimore Ravens football team. He played football at St. John Vianney High School where he was a student. Going into his junior season, he was named the team’s starting quarterback.
During that season, he passed for 2,198 yards and 25 touchdowns while also rushing for 839 yards and eight more. He rushed for 604 yards and nine touchdowns while passing for 2,298 yards as a senior. He received first-team All-State honors and the football player of the year award from the Shore Conference. He attended Boston College after high school, where from 2016 to 2019 he played college football for the Boston College Eagles.
Brown redshirted at Boston College during his actual freshman year. He started the first game of the next season as the second freshman in school history, completing 134 of 258 passes for 1,367 yards, 11 touchdowns, and nine interceptions. In 2020, he changed schools and joined the football team of the Oregon Ducks at the University of Oregon.
In the 2020 Pac-12 Football Championship Game, where he largely played in goal-line situations and completed three of four pass attempts for 17 yards and two touchdowns, he made his debut for the Ducks. He was chosen to serve as the Ducks’ starting quarterback in 2021. On May 6, 2022, he agreed to terms with the Baltimore Ravens as an undrafted free agent.
