Over the course of the 2022 draft weekend, the Baltimore Ravens were successful in adding an astounding 11 players to their rookie class. They added future stars to both the offensive and defensive sides of the ball, sometimes taking the top players on the draft board and other times drafting based on need.
The burden of signing their draft class has now fallen to Baltimore, and on Thursday Tyler Badie, a running back selected in the sixth round became the first of their rookies to sign a contract.
He begins what is hoped to be a rapid procedure to reasonably secure contracts for all 11 rookies.
Badie participated in 12 games as a rookie and had 437 yards and two touchdowns on 89 carries in addition to 809 yards from other sources. He was also selected for the Southeastern Conference (SEC) All-Freshman team.
He led Missouri with 32 receptions for 356 yards and five touchdowns while rushing for 457 yards. Badie gained 242 yards rushing on 48 tries with four touchdowns as a junior. He also caught 28 passes for 333 yards and two more scores.

The Baltimore Ravens have agreed to pay Tyler Badie $3,834,620 over the course of four seasons. The deal also includes a $174,620 signing bonus and $174,620 in guaranteed salary.
