Ricky Person Jr. plays professional football as running back for the Baltimore Ravens football team in the National Football League. He has a height of 1.83 m and weighs 98kg. He was born in Wake Forest, North Carolina in the United States of America on December 11, 1999.
He attended Franklinton High school and played his first two seasons there before transferring to Heritage High school where he played under head coach and former Wolfpack and NFL great Dewayne Washington. He was team captain and was named 1 of 16 finalists nationally for the U.S. Army Player of the Year award. He also played in the U.S. Army All-American Game.
After high school, he enrolled at the North Carolina State University and played college football for the NC State Athletics. During his rookie season in 2018, he had many rushes and was second-leading rusher with 471 yards for the season. In 2019, he missed five total games with an ankle injury and he underwent surgery in October that year.
When the 2020 season began, he was awarded the team’s Ken McNeill Iron Wolf Award, which is given to the player who makes a comeback from injury. He started every game, finishing second on the squad in rushing with 643 yards. He was named the ACC RB of the Week for the season opener. He was signed by the Baltimore Ravens as an undrafted free agent in the 2022 NFL Draft.
