One of the NFL’s professional football players is Mark Andrews. He is a tight end for the football team known as the Baltimore Ravens. He is 116 kg and 1.96 m tall. He was raised in Scottsdale, Arizona, and went to Desert Mountain High School there. He participated in football there as a wide receiver and finished his senior year with 68 receptions for 1,122 yards and 17 touchdowns.
He recorded 58 receptions for 1,058 yards and 10 touchdowns as a sophomore, and 81 grabs for 1,494 yards and 21 touchdowns as a junior. To play college football, Andrews committed to the University of Oklahoma. He participated in football with the Oklahoma Sooners from 2014 through his senior year in 2017.
He moved to tight end at the university from wide receiver. He received the John Mackey Award in 2017. Andrews would miss his senior year at Oklahoma in favor of the 2018 NFL Draft, it was revealed in early January 2018. In his three years at Oklahoma, Andrews finished with the sixth-highest total of touchdown catches among all receivers and the most receiving yards among tight ends.
He was chosen by the Baltimore Ravens in the third round of the 2018 NFL Draft. He signed a four-year, $3.45 million contract with the Ravens in May 2018, which also included a $836,660 signing bonus. Andrews signed a four-year, $56 million contract deal with the Ravens in September 2021, with $37.6 million of that amount guaranteed.
