As a redshirt freshman, he participated in all 15 of Georgia’s contests and started the final five, which included the 2018 College Football Playoff National Championship game.Cleveland’s redshirt sophomore season saw him start eight games while missing six due to injury.
In the third round of the 2021 NFL Draft, Cleveland was taken by the Baltimore Ravens with the 94th overall pick. On July 20, 2021, Cleveland agreed to a four-year, $4.8 million rookie contract.
He was listed on the active/non-football injury list on July 21, 2021, the first day of training camp. Cleveland was placed on injured reserve on October 12, 2021, as a result of a knee injury sustained in Week 5 against the Indianapolis Colts.
On November 20, 2021, Cleveland was transferred from the injured reserve to the active roster.
