Ben Cleveland is an American football offensive guard for the Baltimore Ravens of the National Football League (NFL).
He played college football at Georgia, and was drafted by the Ravens in the third round of the 2021 NFL Draft.
Toccoa, Georgia, was where Cleveland spent his childhood, and he went to Stephens County High School, where he participated in both baseball and football.
During the summer before his junior year, he made a verbal commitment to attend the University of Georgia to play collegiate football and was given a rating of four stars by recruiting services.
Cleveland sat out his first year as a true freshman to wear a red shirt. As a redshirt freshman, he participated in all 15 of Georgia’s games and started the final five, including the 2018 College Football Playoff National Championship game. He was named to the All-SEC Freshman Team.
During his redshirt sophomore season, Cleveland was healthy enough to start eight games, but an injury forced him to miss six games.
As a redshirt junior, he participated in 13 games and made seven starts at the right guard position.
After starting nine games in the COVID-19 shortened 2020 season, Cleveland was named to the first team All-Southeastern Conference and the third team All-American by the Associated Press.
This honor came after Cleveland returned to being a full-time starter at right guard in his final season at Georgia. Cleveland also received this honor.
