As a senior, he was once more selected for the first team all-region and awarded defensive player of the year. He rejected offers to play collegiate football from other institutions in favor of the University of Tennessee in Chattanooga. While a student at the University of Tennessee in Chattanooga, he played football for the Chattanooga Mocs.
In college, he played for five seasons; his first season was a redshirt. He made his commitment to the Tennessee Titans in April 2019. He played in his first NFL game during the season opener against the Cleveland Browns. In November 2020, his time with the Titans came to an end. After the Tennessee Titans released him, the New England Patriots picked him up off waivers.
The Denver Broncos signed him in February 2021, but they later dropped him in August. In October of the same year, he joined the Pittsburgh Steelers’ practice squad.
