Vince Biegel is an American football outside linebacker for the Baltimore Ravens of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football in Wisconsin.
During his senior season, Biegel racked up 172 tackles, 21 sacks, three interceptions, five forced fumbles, three fumble recoveries, and two defensive touchdowns. He also scored two defensive touchdowns.
He was honored as the Defensive Player of the Year by the Wisconsin Football Coaches Association, as the 2011 Gatorade State Player of the Year in Wisconsin, and as a member of the 2011 USA Today All-USA high school football team. All of these accolades were bestowed upon him.
Four of the most prominent online recruiting agencies, including Rivals.com, Scout.com, ESPN.com, and 247Sports.com, all rank him as a four-star prospect. Biegel made his commitment to attend the University of Wisconsin on April 23, 2011, during his junior year of high school.
He turned down scholarship opportunities from BYU, Iowa, Michigan, Michigan State, Stanford, and Tennessee, among other schools, and selected Wisconsin instead.
