Trent Harris, a former Baltimore Raven outside linebacker, is currently a free agent.
Harris suited up for the Miami Hurricanes for a total of four years. As a senior, he produced a team-high 8.5 sacks, 37 tackles, 10.5 tackles for loss, and was voted third team All-Atlantic Coast Conference.
At the end of his collegiate career, Harris had 126 total tackles, 26 total tackles for loss, 15 sacks, three pass deflections, three fumble recoveries, and one forced fumble.
Harris joined the New England Patriots as an undrafted free agent on April 28, 2018. He was waived at the conclusion of training camp, but on September 2, 2018, he was re-signed to the Patriots’ practice squad.
After spending all of 2018 on the Patriots’ practice squad, he was released at the conclusion of training camp in 2019.
On, September 2, 2019, Harris was claimed by the Miami Dolphins off waivers. On September 22, 2019, he made his NFL debut against the Dallas Cowboys, recording one tackle in a 31-6 loss.
Harris was added to the New York Giants practice squad on October 14, 2020. On October 17 and 22, he was promoted to the active roster for the team’s Week 6 and Week 7 games against the Washington Football Team and the Philadelphia Eagles, respectively.
Harris inked a contract with the Ravens on August 13, 2022, however, he was immediately transferred to the team’s injured reserve. On August 25, he was released.
