Harrison had his high school education at Walnut Ridge in Columbus, Ohio, where he participated in both football and basketball. He played different positions on the football field, including quarterback, wide receiver, running back, linebacker, and safety.
During his senior year of high school football in 2015, he carried for 897 yards and scored 15 touchdowns, threw for 1,161 yards and scored eight touchdowns, and recorded a total of five sacks and forty tackles.
After completing his final year of high school football, he made the decision to attend Ohio State University and play collegiate football there.
During his first year as a student at Ohio State, Harrison participated in 12 different games. In 2017, as a sophomore for Ohio State, he participated in all 14 of the Buckeyes’ games, recording a total of 36 tackles and two sacks.
As a starter in his junior year of 2018, Harrison made 81 tackles, tied for first on the team, and added 8.5 tackles for loss. He was recognized as an honorable mention All-Big Ten Conference performer.
In the 2020 National Football League Draft, the Baltimore Ravens drafted Harrison in the third round (98th overall). On July 13, 2020, he became the newest member of the organization by signing a rookie deal for four years.
