Patrick Queen is a middle linebacker for the Baltimore Ravens of the National Football League.
Before moving on to high school, he was on the football team at False River Academy, where he had attended middle school.
After that, he continued his education at Livonia High School, where he participated in football in both the linebacker and running back positions.
During her time at Livonia High School, Queen was a member of the football team that won the state championship in 2014.
In 2016, he was a senior and rushed for 1,487 yards and 19 touchdowns on offense. On defense, he made 66 tackles, seven tackles for losses, and six passes broken up.
Queen took part in the 2014 National Combine and was honored for his play at the cornerback position on the first team.
Queen was rated as a four-star talent, but despite his desire to play in the Southeastern Conference, he had few offers from colleges in the Power Five conferences.
Prior to earning offers from Nebraska, Indiana, and his chosen school, LSU, Queen had early offers from smaller universities Tulane, Louisiana, Louisiana-Monroe, Colorado State, McNeese State, Louisiana Tech, and South Florida.
On February 28, 2016, Queen committed to LSU without making any further school visits. LSU offered Queen a scholarship, making him the first player from Livonia to win such a scholarship.
