Patrick Queen, a middle linebacker with the National Football League’s Baltimore Ravens, was born on August 13, 1999. (NFL). In the 2020 NFL Draft, the Ravens selected him with the 28th overall pick after playing college football for LSU.
As the youngest (and only male) of four children, Queen was raised in Ventress, Louisiana by his parents, Dwayne and Mary Sue.
Before transferring to high school, he participated in football at False River Academy during middle school.
Later, when a student at Livonia High School, he participated in football as a linebacker and a running back. Queen played on the football squad that won the 2014 state championship for Livonia High School.
The Baltimore Ravens selected Queen with the 28th overall pick in the first round of the 2020 NFL Draft. He is the first LSU player ever selected by the Ravens.
In a 38-6 victory over the Cleveland Browns, Queen made his professional debut. He finished with a team-high eight tackles, a sack, and a forced fumble.
Queen’s efforts in Week 5 earned him the title of AFC Defensive Player of the Week on October 14, 2020. On November 3, 2020, the team placed him on the reserve/COVID-19 list, and four days later, he was activated.
Queen made his first career interception in Week 13’s 34-17 victory over the Dallas Cowboys thanks to a pass thrown by Andy Dalton.
Following the NFL’s loosening of its jersey number regulations in 2021, Queen switched his jersey number from #48 to #6.
