Josh Ross is a linebacker for the Baltimore Ravens of the National Football League. He was born on October 31, 1999. Ross is a Baltimore Ravens player who dons uniform number 46. Ross was raised in Southfield, Michigan, attended St. Mary’s Preparatory and was born there.
As a senior, he made 142 tackles, 20 of which were for a loss, 12.5 sacks, three forced fumbles, and three fumble recoveries. Ross, a four-star recruit, choose Michigan over offers to play college football from Ohio State, Michigan State, and Notre Dame.
Ross represented the Michigan Wolverines for five seasons. During his first season, Ross played in all 13 of Michigan’s games, largely on special teams. After the team’s second season, in which he ended with 61 tackles and one sack, he was selected for honorable mention All-Big Ten Conference.
Prior to suffering an ankle injury that prevented him from playing the remainder of the regular season, Ross started the first three games of his junior year.
Ross made 53 tackles as a senior and once again earned honorable mention all-conference during the COVID-19 abbreviated 2020 Big Ten season. He started all six of Michigan’s games as a senior.
Ross made the decision to continue his graduate studies at Michigan for the fifth season. In his final season, Ross amassed 106 tackles, including nine tackles for loss, and was selected to the Big Ten third team.Ross agreed to a non-drafted free agent contract with the Baltimore Ravens on May 7, 2022. He was listed on the Ravens’ initial 53-man roster after training camp.
