Marlon N. Humphrey is a cornerback for the Baltimore Ravens of the National Football League. At Hoover High School, where he played football, Humphrey was recognized by USA Today as a member of the All-USA high school football team in both 2012 and 2013.
At the 2013 World Youth Championships in Donetsk, Ukraine, he won a silver medal in the 110-meter hurdles. Additionally, USA Today recognized him as a member of their All-American Track & Field Team.
Humphrey was a college football player for the Alabama Tide in 2015 and 2016. During his time there, he planned to take part in both track and football competitions, but he ended up playing cornerback instead. He and the Alabama football team won the College Football Playoff National Championship in the year 2015. He was selected to the College Football All-America Team in 2016.
In the 2017 NFL Draft, the Baltimore Ravens selected Humphrey 16th overall. After the team signed Earl Thomas in 2019, he switched from wearing the number 29 to the number 44 on his jersey.
In 2019, he was selected for the All-Pro first team, and in both 2019 and 2020, he was chosen for a spot on the Pro Bowl team.
