According to Field Yates, the Baltimore Ravens used $1.8 million in cap space by converting $2.254 million of CB Marlon Humphrey’s base salary into a signing bonus.
The Ravens selected Humphrey, 25, in the first round of the 2017 draft. When he signed a five-year, $98.75 million extension last year, he was in the final year of his fully guaranteed four-year, $11.9 million deal and due to earn a basic salary of $2.08 million in 2020.
Over the following two seasons, Humphrey will receive base salaries of $10 million and $10.5 million.
Humphrey played for the Ravens in 15 games in 2020, making 82 tackles, 2.5 sacks, an interception, forcing 8 fumbles, and defending 11 passes.
