After graduating from high school, he enrolled in the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, where he played football for the UNLV Rebels squad.

Jackson joined the Indianapolis Colts on May 1 after going undrafted in the 2018 NFL Draft. In October 2018, he was added to the Houston Texans’ practice squad. The Texans released him the following month. On October 31, 2018, he was added to the Cleveland Browns’ practice squad. On December 13 of that year, he was let go by the Browns.

In October 2020, he was added to the Browns’ active roster. His release from the Browns occurred in February 2021. In February 2021, he re-signed with the Browns.
