According to Aaron Wilson, the Baltimore Ravens have agreed to terms with cornerback Kevon Seymour for a one-year contract beginning with the 2022 season. In March, Seymour was going to be able to sign with any team he wanted as a free agent.
The Bills selected Seymour, now 28 years old, in the sixth round of the 2016 NFL Draft after he played college football at USC.
When the Bills decided to sell him to the Panthers, he was going into the second year of a four-year rookie contract that was for a total of $2.44 million and was scheduled to make a basic salary of $540,000 in 2017.
After spending the entirety of the 2018 campaign on the injured reserve for the Panthers, Seymour was eventually released the following season. He was brought back to the Eagles organization on a futures deal after they signed him during the 2020 season.
After the preseason, the Eagles decided not to keep Seymour on the team and released him. However, he was then acquired by the Ravens and placed on their practice squad for the 2021 season. In November, Baltimore moved him from their bench to their active roster.
During the 2021 season, Seymour played for the Ravens and participated in nine games. He finished the year with 25 total tackles, one sack, and one pass defense.
