On April 19, 1995, Charles Edward Clark Jr. was born. He plays strong safety for the Baltimore Ravens of the National Football League. He presently wears the team’s number 36.
The Ravens chose Clark in the sixth round of the 2017 NFL Draft. Clark went to King’s Fork High School in Suffolk, Virginia. He took part in American football, basketball, and track.
He was listed by ESPN as the No. 68 safety in the nation, the No. 145 player in his area, and the No. 34 player in the state at his position.
Clark, who was listed as a cornerback, participated in the NFL Scouting Combine. At Virginia Tech’s Pro Day on March 15, 2017, Clark decided to compete in the 40-yard dash (4.56 seconds), 20-yard dash (2.65 seconds), 10-yard dash (1.59 seconds), and vertical leap (33 1/2 inches).
Unfortunately, Clark’s performance couldn’t outperform his combined results. After the pre-draft process, scouts and draft gurus for the NFL predicted that Clark would either be selected in the sixth to seventh round or go undrafted.
According to DraftScout.com, he was the 11th-best free safety prospect available for the draft.
On February 10, 2020, Clark agreed to a three-year, $15.30 million contract agreement with the Baltimore Ravens, which includes a $10 million guaranteed bonus and a $5.50 million signing bonus.
