Geno Stone, an American professional football player, plays safety for the Baltimore Ravens in the National Football League. He weighs 94 kg and is 1.80 meters tall. Geno participated at three positions on the football squad at New Castle Junior/Senior High School: wide receiver, quarterback, and defensive back.
He received first-team All-State recognition for his senior season thanks to his 97 tackles, 13 tackles for loss, three sacks, and 10 interceptions. After high school, he played collegiate football with the Iowa Hawkeyes of the University of Iowa. As a freshman, he competed in all 13 of Iowa’s events. He was inserted into the starting lineup in his second season, recording 39 tackles and a forced fumble.
He was given honorable mention in the Big Ten Conference. Geno announced his intention to bypass his final year of NCAA eligibility and enter the 2020 NFL Draft after the 2019 season. He was taken by the Baltimore Ravens in the seventh round of the 2020 NFL Draft. He was released in October 2020 and re-signed to the practice squad two days later.
He was added to the Ravens’ active roster in November of 2020 before being released once more in December. He was chosen off waivers by the Houston Texans on December 29, 2020. In March 2021, he signed a one-year contract to return to the Ravens. In March 2022, the Ravens gave him an exclusive-rights free agent tender.
