On November 2, 1999, Ar’Darius Washington, a safety for the Baltimore Ravens of the National Football League, was born. Washington plays as number 29 for the Baltimore Ravens.

He participated in college football at TCU. Washington attended Shreveport, Louisiana’s Evangel Christian Academy, and played cornerback for the Eagles.

Prior to his senior year, he committed to playing collegiate football for LSU. However, he later changed his mind and will now play for Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, Texas.

In order to keep his redshirt, Washington played in four games for the TCU Horned Frogs in 2018 as a true freshman while switching to safety.

He had a breakthrough year as a redshirt freshman in 2019, earning a starting position toward the end of the year and leading the team with five interceptions, the most by a rookie in Gary Patterson’s time at TCU.

Prior to his sophomore campaign in 2020, Dave Campbell’s Texas Football named Washington to the All-Texas College Team.

He was also recognized by ESPN[6,5], Pro Football Focus, and Dave Campbell’s Texas Football as the nation’s second-leading returning safety behind classmate Trevon Moehring.

Additionally, CBS Sports predicted that he would be taken in the first round of the 2021 NFL Draft.

Washington declared for the 2021 NFL Draft on December 29, 2020, saying he will forgo his last two seasons of college eligibility.

Washington joined the Baltimore Ravens on May 13, 2021, as an undrafted free agent. He was put on injured reserve after suffering a foot injury that would finish the season on November 27, 2021.
