Marcus Alan Williams is a safety for the Baltimore Ravens of the National Football League in the sport of American football. Williams H\e was a member of the Utah Utes football team during his time at the University of Utah.
Williams received his secondary education at Eleanor Roosevelt High School, which is located in Eastvale, California. He was a two-way player for the Mustangs football team, playing both wide receiver and defensive back.
In addition to that, he was a track and basketball athlete. He chose to play college football at the University of Utah despite scholarship offers from Washington and California that were competitive with one another.
Williams was a true freshman at Utah in 2014 and participated in all 13 of the school’s games while making six starts. At the end of the 2014 campaign, he ended with 59 tackles and an interception.
After starting all 13 games he played as a sophomore in 2015, he finished with 65 tackles, and five interceptions, and was named to the first team of All-Pac-12. On October 10, the Utes triumphed 30–24 thanks to his interception of a pass thrown by Jared Goff of California.
In 2016, as a junior, he suffered an injury that caused him to miss a few games. On his return game, which was November 10 against Arizona State, he had nine tackles and an interception inside the end zone.
