How Good Is Jordan Stout?

On August 4, 1998, Jordan Connor Stout, a placekicker and punter with the Baltimore Ravens of the National Football League, was born.

He played collegiate football at Virginia Tech and Penn State. He dons the team’s number 11 jersey. Stout attended Honaker High School and was raised in Honaker, Virginia.

Three times, he was selected as an All-State kicker. Stout was chosen as the Tigers’ team MVP after making all nine of his field goal tries and averaged 47 yards per punt as a senior.

After joining the team as a walk-on, Stout started his undergraduate career at Virginia Tech, where he redshirted his true freshman year.

Stout, a redshirt freshman, was the Hokies’ kickoff specialist and had a 60 touchback ratio on 71 kickoff attempts.

After the season ended, Stout committed to transferring to Penn State, which had given him an athletic scholarship, by using the NCAA transfer portal.

Stout kicked 67 times for 3,083 yards and a 46.0-yard average to earn a spot on the Big Ten Conference first team and the Eddleman-Fields Punter of the Year award.

In addition, he made 16 of 23 field goals and 34 of 36 extra point attempts. When the season was over, Stout said he would take part in the 2022 NFL Draft.

130th overall and in the fourth round of the 2022 NFL Draft, the Baltimore Ravens selected Stout. Sam Koch, a seasoned punter, was supposed to take over as the new starter before he announced his retirement.

For the first time in Penn State history, Stout was awarded the Big Ten punter of the year.
Stout achieved school records for both the average of a single season of punting (46.55 yards this season) (44.81).

In five games, Stout averaged 50 yards or more per punt, and 25 of his 62 punts covered 50 yards or more.
