Nicholas Robert Moore is a long snapper for the National Football League team Baltimore Ravens.
Moore is a former MLB player. He played for the Boston Red Sox’s minor league team for four years after being picked in the 30th round of the MLB draft in 2011. He played most of the time at first base and third base for the Lowell Spinners.
Moore went to Georgia to play college football. He was recruited to play linebacker and also played fullback. In 2017, he switched to long snapper. During his time with the Bulldogs, he played in 23 games, including 14 as a senior in 2018.
Moore joined the Baltimore Ravens three days after he signed with them. He was cut from the team’s roster for the last time on September 5, 2020. The next day, he joined the Ravens’ practice squad.
Morgan Cox was put on the COVID-19 list on December 2, which moved him up to the active roster for the team’s week 12 game against the Pittsburgh Steelers. After the game, he went back to the practice squad.
Moore and the Ravens made a deal for the future on January 18, 2021. On January 25, 2021, the Ravens said that they would not be keeping Morgan Cox for the next season and would instead go with Nick Moore.
The Ravens gave Moore an exclusive-rights free agent tender on March 9, 2022.
