Grant Haley is a cornerback in the National Football League for the Los Angeles Rams. He attended Penn State, where he played football. Haley is most well-known for returning a blocked field goal for a game-winning score in 2016 against the then-unbeaten Ohio State Buckeyes.
Haley was signed as an undrafted free agent by the New York Giants following the 2018 NFL Draft. During his stint with the Giants, he saw action at cornerback and safety. On September 1, 2018, he was waived and immediately added to the practice squad.
He was added to the active roster on October 16, 2018. Haley finished the 2018 season graded as Pro Football Focus’s fourth-best rookie cornerback.
Haley was waived by the Giants on September 5, 2020.
Haley was added to the New Orleans Saints practice squad on September 19, 2020. On December 5, 2020, he was advanced to the active roster, but his contract was denied by the NFL on December 9, and he was returned to the practice squad.
On January 2, 2021, he was promoted to the active roster for the team’s Week 17 game against the Carolina Panthers but was immediately demoted to the practice squad following the game. Haley recorded his first career interception during the game, intercepting a Teddy Bridgewater pass in the 33–7 victory.
Haley signed a reserve/futures deal with the Saints on January 18, 2021.
