This week, the Arizona Cardinals have not made any moves in free agency other than to retain their own players. They’re working under contracts that support the team. The contract that outside linebacker Markus Golden has signed for two years is a steal. The agreement that has been revealed for right tackle Kelvin Beachum is also final.
It was stated on Tuesday that he would be signing a contract with the team for a period of two years. On Wednesday, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network shared some of the details of the agreement that he had reached with the player.
The agreement is for a period of two years and is worth a total of $4 million, with $2.075 million being fully guaranteed.
In the previous season, he started at right tackle for the team and participated in every single snap. Last year, the 33-year-old made only the bare minimum required by the league, which was $1.05 million.
According to how things are shaping up, it seems as though he will receive $1 million to sign the deal, and then he will make the veteran minimum salary of $1.075 million in 2021, with his income being totally guaranteed. If this were to happen, his 2021 cap hit would be reduced to only 1.58 million.
How Much Does Kelvin Beachum Make?
Kelvin Beachum’s average salary is $2,000,000 per year. Beachum’s base salary will be $1,925,000 in 2022, and his cap hit will be $2,425,000.
