James Earl Conner is a running back for the Arizona Cardinals of the National Football League. Conner attended the University of Pittsburgh for his college football and was selected by the Steelers in the third round of the 2017 NFL Draft.
During the 2014 season, he was named to the first team of All-Americans by the AFCA and was honored as the ACC Player of the Year.
Conner received his secondary education at McDowell High School, located in Erie, Pennsylvania. He played defensive line and running back for the Trojans’ football team. During his senior season, he carried the ball 155 times for a total of 1,680 yards and scored 26 touchdowns.
