In 2017, he was named to ESPN’s first-team Freshman All-American squad, making him the program’s 12th selection to that honor. The Arizona Cardinals selected Dimukeje in the sixth round of the 2021 NFL Draft.
On May 25, 2021, he agreed to a four-year rookie contract with the Cardinals. As a rookie, he spent most of his time on special teams and played in 14 games. He recorded one tackle and one quarterback hit on defense and three solo tackles while covering special teams.
