Max Garcia is a guard for the Arizona Cardinals of the National Football League. While attending the University of Florida, he served as a team captain and was named to the second team of the all-SEC in 2014. In the 2015 NFL Draft, the Denver Broncos selected him in the fourth round, making him the 133rd player overall.
During his senior year at Norcross High School, Garcia was recognized with an honorable mention for all-Georgia Class 5A. In addition to that, he took part in the shot put and discuss competitions. In the summer of 2009, Garcia went to Australia to compete in a world track competition.

Max Garcia College Career
Garcia started out at the University of Maryland but eventually transferred to Florida. Because of NCAA transfer restrictions, he was required to sit out in 2012, yet he started 12 games at left tackle for Maryland in 2011.
Garcia played in 39 games for the University of Florida and the University of Maryland, and he started 37 of them at left tackle, left guard, and center. After making the switch from a left tackle and left guard to center in the offseason, he started all 13 games at center for the Gators in his senior year at Florida, earning him second-team All-Southeastern Conference honors.
Garcia was considered for the Rimington Trophy (awarded to the nation’s best center) due to his grade of more than 97% on more than 757 snaps played. On two separate occasions, he was recognized as the SEC’s Offensive Lineman of the Week.
In his rookie season with the Gators, Garcia started all 12 games at either left tackle or left guard, and he was the anchor of the offense after being the sole starter to avoid injury.
