Keaontay Ingram is currently playing as a running back with the National Football League’s Arizona Cardinals. He was born on October 26, 1999. Ingram was born and raised in Carthage, Texas, and went to Carthage High School there.
He participated in collegiate football at USC and Texas. There, he participated in football, track, and basketball.
He participated in 13 games during his debut season at Texas, starting two of them. He gained 708 yards on the ground, scored three times, and added 27 receptions for 170 yards and two more scores.
He ran for 25 yards and added three catches for another 24 yards in Texas’ victory in the 2019 Sugar Bowl. He participated in and started 13 games as a sophomore, rushing for 853 yards and six touchdowns.
He spent three seasons at Texas before transferring to USC, where in his senior season, he amassed more than 1,000 yards from scrimmage. In addition to receiving 156 yards, he ran for 911 yards and scored 5 touchdowns.
In seven of the ten games he started, he made ten appearances. Due to a rib ailment that required surgery, his season was cut short. The 201st pick overall in the 2022 NFL Draft went to the Arizona Cardinals, who chose Ingram in the sixth round.
On May 19, he agreed to a four-year rookie contract with the Cardinals. In the opening preseason game against the Cincinnati Bengals, he made his Arizona debut.
