Trace McSorley is in his fourth season as an NFL player. The Penn State alum is currently signed by the Atlanta Falcons. He was drafted by the Baltimore Ravens in the sixth round with the 197th overall pick in the 2019 NFL Draft and played three seasons for the team.

McSorley grew up in Ashburn and received his secondary education at Briar Woods High School in Ashburn, Virginia. He only started his football journey in his freshman year.

During his first season with the team, he guided them to a record of 13–2 and the state championship. In his junior year, which was two seasons later, he led the team to a record of 15–0 and its third consecutive state championship.

Both the Virginia Coaches Association and Virginia Preps voted him to the first team of the state’s All-State squad. He was named first-team All-Dulles District, offensive player of the year in Dulles, and second-team All-Region as a quarterback.
