As reported by Jordan Schultz, the Cardinals are re-signing quarterback Trace McSorley to the practice squad on Wednesday.

McSorley was passed through waivers after being cut by the team on Tuesday during final cuts.

McSorley was selected by the Ravens in the sixth round in 2019. The Ravens released him after the preseason as he entered the third year of a four-year rookie deal worth $2,680,684 including a $160,684 signing bonus.

However, the Cardinals eventually signed McSorley as their third quarterback after he had previously re-signed with Baltimore’s practice squad. After the conclusion of the preseason, Arizona released him from his contract.

McSorley played in two games for Baltimore in 2020, completing three of his ten pass attempts (30 percent) for 90 yards and a score.
