Trace McSorley Parents: Meet Rick McSorley and Andrea McSorley

Richard Thomas “Trace” McSorley III, an American football quarterback who now plays for the Arizona Cardinals of the National Football League, was born on August 23, 1995.

In the sixth round of the 2019 NFL Draft, the Baltimore Ravens selected him from Penn State, where he played his collegiate football.

At Penn State, he presently boasts a variety of records, including marks for the most passing yards in a season and the most throwing touchdowns in a single campaign.

McSorley attended Virginia’s Briar Woods High School, situated in Ashburn, from 2010 to 2014. He was selected as the first team in the state’s All-State squad by both the Virginia Coaches Association and Virginia Preps.

He was honoured as an All-Dulles District First Team player, Dulles District Offensive Player of the Year, and All-Region quarterback as a junior.

He led the club to a 13-2 record and a state championship in his first season there. Penn State quarterback Trace McSorley is qualified to sign with the NFL as a senior who will graduate this year.

He had times of 4.57 seconds for the 40-yard sprint, 33 inches for the vertical jump, and 115 inches for the broad jump at the NFL Combine.

He had the highest vertical leap of any quarterback. He took part in a total of six games as a freshman while wearing a redshirt, five of which were in a relief capacity.

Prior to the TaxSlayer Bowl, starter quarterback Christian Hackenberg had an injury; as a result, he saw some action.
