Kyler Murray is a professional quarterback for the National Football League’s Arizona Cardinals. He weighs 94 kg and stands 1.78 m tall. He played football at Allen High School, where he attended. When he was a senior and the Gatorade Football Player of the Year in 2014, he became the first player to win the title of Mr. Texas Football twice.
ESPN, Scout.com, and 247Sports regarded him as the top dual-threat quarterback in his class and a five-star recruit. In May 2014, he committed to playing football and baseball for Texas A&M University. In December 2015, after one season with the Texas A&M Aggies, he transferred to the University of Oklahoma.
At the University of Oklahoma, he resumed playing football for the Oklahoma Sooners team. He had two passing touchdowns and 308 passing yards versus Alabama in the 2018 Orange Bowl. He became the only third-place finisher in Heisman Trophy history to not get a unanimous All-American nod.

In September 2019, he participated in his debut NFL game. In April 2022, the Cardinals exercised his fifth-year option under his contract. He agreed to a five-year, $230.5 million contract deal in July 2022 to remain with the Cardinals.
