Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray plays in the National Football League. He is 1.78 m tall and 94 kg in weight. He went to Allen High School, where he played football as well. As a senior in 2014, he received two votes for Mr. Texas Football and was named the Gatorade Football Player of the Year.
ESPN, Scout.com, and 247Sports gave him a five-star rating and named him the best dual-threat quarterback in his class. In May 2014, he committed to playing baseball and football at Texas A&M University. Before moving to the University of Oklahoma in December 2015, he spent a year playing football at Texas A&M.
In order to continue playing football, he joined the University of Oklahoma’s Oklahoma Sooners squad. He passed for 308 passing yards and two throwing touchdowns in the 2018 Orange Bowl matchup with Alabama. He became just the third winner of the Heisman Trophy to not receive a unanimous All-American nod.
His decision to declare for the 2019 NFL Draft was made public in January 2019. In the 2019 NFL Draft, the Arizona Cardinals selected Murray first overall. 2019 September marked the start of his NFL career. In April 2022, the Cardinals exercised his fifth-year option. He extended his deal with the Cardinals in July 2022, agreeing to a five-year, $230.5 million deal.
