As a guard with the Arizona Cardinals of the National Football League, Justin Pugh participates in professional American football. He stands 1.96 meters tall and weighs 141 kilograms. He attended Council Rock High School South, where he played high school football, and was recognized as a second-team defense All-State selection by the Pennsylvania Football News in 2008.

He was voted second-team all-area as a defensive lineman as a senior and received first-team all-area and All-Suburban One League honors as a junior and senior. As a team captain in 2008, he received the MVP and defensive player of the year awards. He was named to the second team of the region’s offensive tackles as a sophomore.

From 2009 to 2012, he participated in collegiate football with the Syracuse Orange squad at Syracuse University. He was chosen as the seventh offensive lineman overall and fifth offensive tackle in 2013. He agreed to a five-year, $45 million contract with the Arizona Cardinals in March 2018. Pugh started every game in 2019, including two at right tackle and 14 at left guard.
