Deionte Thompson is a safety who is a free agent who competes in the National Football League. He is 88 kilograms and 1.85 meters tall. While a student at West Orange-Stark High School, he played football and had 15 interceptions. He committed to playing college football at Alabama University. He competed for the Alabama Crimson Tide football team from 2015 to 2018.
After sitting out his first year at Alabama, he made nine tackles in 14 games as a redshirt freshman in 2016. He made two starts in his 14 games as a sophomore in 2017. During that period, he recorded one interception and 25 tackles. He played in 14 games in 2018 after being named the starter.

During the fifth round of the 2019 NFL Draft, the Arizona Cardinals made him their own. He played in 11 games and had 18 tackles during his first campaign. Thompson’s release from the Cardinals took place on September 27, 2022.
