Professional football player Tanner Vallejo lines up at linebacker for the National Football League’s Arizona Cardinals. He is 104 kg and 1.85 m tall. He played football while a student at Nevada Union High School, where he graduated as a MaxPreps All-American. He went to Boise State University and participated in collegiate football with the Boise State Broncos.
He had 100 tackles as a sophomore at Boise State but had to leave his final collegiate season early for wrist surgery. He contributed to the Broncos’ 28-0 victory during that season as a sophomore by blocking two kicks in one contest. Vallejo was chosen by the Buffalo Bills in the sixth round of the 2017 NFL Draft.

After the Browns released him in February 2019, the Arizona Cardinals picked him up off waivers. He was fired on September 1, 2019, following the last roster cuts. The next day, the Washington Redskins picked him up off waivers.
The day of his release was November 16, 2019. He joined the Arizona Cardinals’ practice squad the following month. Vallejo and the Cardinals extended their two-year, $4.1 million contract in March 2021.
