Following his selection by Baltimore in the 2015 NFL Draft’s second round (55th overall), Maxx Williams signed with the Cardinals as a free agent in 2019 and has since played in 23 of 30 possible games for the team over the course of three seasons (2019–2021).
In his first seven NFL seasons with the Ravens (2015-18) and Cardinals, he amassed 102 receptions for 994 yards and six touchdowns in 72 games (44 starts) (2019-21).

He was a part of the 10th-ranked rushing attack in the NFL in 2019 (1,990 yards), which averaged a single-season franchise record 5.03 yards per carry (second in the NFL).
