In the National Football League, Tae Daley plays safety for the Arizona Cardinals. He is 91 kg and 1.80 m tall. He played football and went to Northside High School for his high school education. He finished his scholastic career with more than 200 tackles, 13 interceptions, and 20 passes defended. He also played All-State soccer as a sophomore and contributed to the football team’s 2014 5A state championship success.
He played three seasons of collegiate football for the Vanderbilt Commodores while a student at Vanderbilt University. He was one of five true freshmen to play in 11 games as a rookie in 2017. As a junior in 2019, he made nine safety starts while compiling 57 tackles and a forced fumble. He played in 35 games and recorded 108 tackles in his three seasons at Vanderbilt. For his senior year in 2021, he switched to Virginia Tech, where he participated in all 13 games. With 73 tackles, a pass defensed, and a forced fumble, he was the fifth-ranked player on the team.
Throughout his college career, he played in 46 games and racked up 181 total tackles, 9.5 tackles for loss, seven passes defended, 1.5 sacks, and two forced fumbles. He was signed by the Arizona Cardinals in 2022 as an undrafted free agent.
