For the Arizona Cardinals of the National Football League, Antonio Hamilton is a professional football player who lines up at cornerback. At 1.83 m tall and 88 kg, he is also quite tall. When he was playing football, he was a student at Strom Thurmond High School. At South Carolina State University, he was a member of the South Carolina State Bulldogs football team. He participated in 33 games during three seasons there.
He made 73 tackles, 1 sack, 4 interceptions, and 9 passes defended. Along with that, he returned 23 punts for 498 yards and two touchdowns in addition to 33 kickoff returns for 818 yards. As a return specialist in his junior year, he was named All-Conference.
The Oakland Raiders signed Hamilton as an undrafted free agent in May 2016 after he went undrafted in the 2016 NFL Draft. In September 2018, the New York Giants picked him up off waivers. Before being placed on injured reserve in December 2018, he participated in 13 games. The Giants extended his contract with them in March 2019. In March 2020, he made a commitment to the Kansas City Chiefs.
Hamilton joined the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in May 2021, but was let go in August of the same year as part of the team’s final roster cuts. He was added to the Arizona Cardinals’ practice squad in September 2021. On September 29, 2021, he was added to the roster of players that are currently playing.
