Rashaan Evans, who is currently entering his fifth season in the NFL, is signed with the Atlanta Falcons. After being drafted by the Titans in the first round (22nd overall) of the 2018 NFL Draft, he went on to play for the team for four seasons.
Where Did Rashaan Evans Attend College
Rashaan Evans attended the University of Alabama after high school. He played college football for the Alabama Crimson Tide from (2014–2017).
Evans appeared in 13 games as a true freshman, all on special teams, and recorded 15 tackles, including two for a loss, and one sack. Evans continued to play primarily on special teams and as a reserve outside linebacker in his sophomore year (2015).
However, the fact that he recorded two sacks against Clemson in the game that won the national championship that year helped put him on the radar of many evaluators.
In 2017, Evans was selected for the All-SEC Second Team after starting all 12 games for his team, recording 74 tackles (tied for the team lead), leading the team with 13 tackles for loss (most on the team), recording six sacks, and intercepting three passes.
Evans started at the inside linebacker position for both of the team’s playoff games in 2016, which were his only starts of the year.
