Anthony Firkser is a pro football tight end with the Atlanta Falcons of the National Football League. His height is 1.88 m, and his weight is 112 kg. He began playing football during his second year at Manalapan High School. He set career school records at Manalapan with 110 receptions, 2,118 receiving yards, and 19 touchdown receptions.
After his senior season, he was named the All-Shore Offensive Player of the Year as a wide receiver. He was also twice selected for the first All-Shore team. Following high school, he enrolled at Harvard University, where he played college football for the Harvard Crimson.
He graduated from Harvard with a degree in applied mathematics. He finished his collegiate career with the sixth-most touchdown receptions in school history, the ninth-most receiving yards, and the 12th-most receptions overall. Firkser became an undrafted free agent and signed with the New York Jets in May 2017. He was released by the Jets in September 2017.
In November, he was added to the Kansas City Chiefs’ practice squad. He was released in April 2018. In May 2018, the Tennessee Titans acquired his services. He agreed to a one-year contract with the Atlanta Falcons in April 2022, but he was released in August of the same year. He was included in the practice squad the next day, and in September 2022, he was promoted to the active roster.
