From 2017 through 2020, after graduating from high school, he played collegiate football for the San Diego State Aztecs at San Diego State University.

The Atlanta Falcons selected Hall in the fourth round, 108th overall, of the 2021 NFL Draft. On June 17, 2021, he committed to the Atlanta Falcons under a four-year rookie deal.
