Erik Harris is an American football free safety for the Atlanta Falcons of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at the California University of Pennsylvania.
Harris was born in Los Angeles, which is located in the state of California, in the United States.
Harris’s parents divorced when he was just two months old, and he moved to Baltimore with his mother shortly afterward.
When Harris was in the fifth grade, his mother uprooted their lives and moved to Pennsylvania. He received his high school education at New Oxford High School, which is located in New Oxford, Pennsylvania.
He attended California University of Pennsylvania, where he was a member of the football team and played safety for the California Vulcans of Division II.
During his four years of college, he recorded a total of 231 defensive tackles. 2010 was the year that he was named to the first team of the All-Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (All-PSAC). In 2011, he was chosen for the PSAC’s Second Team All-Conference.

What Happened To Erik Harris?
Due to a torn pectoral muscle, Erik Harris will be sidelined for the remainder of the season.
The injury seems to have occurred during a run stop very early in the first quarter of the triumph over the home team Carolina Panthers, which the Carolina Seahawks scored 29-21.
He continued to play but eventually took a knee a few plays later and did not return to the game after that.
