Jarrett went to high school in Conyers, Georgia, and graduated from Rockdale County High School, where he was named to the All-state team twice.
He was a starter for four years running and finished his last two seasons with 198 tackles, 63 for a loss, and 27.5 sacks.
As a senior, he had 101 tackles (31.5 for a loss) and nine sacks, which earned him three selections as the team’s top defensive player and All-Region honors all three years.
