Younghoe Koo is a South Korean-born American football placekicker who currently plays for the Atlanta Falcons of the National Football League.
He was born on August 3, 1994. (NFL). In 2017, he started his career as a professional football player with the Los Angeles Chargers.
But four weeks into the season, the Chargers broke ties with him after he missed consecutive game-ending kicks. After taking a year off from football, Koo played for the Atlanta Legends of the Alliance of American
Football (AAF). While playing for the Atlanta Legends, Koo scored the first points in the history of the league and made all of his attempts at field goals before the AAF indefinitely suspended operations.
Because of this achievement, Koo was able to make his NFL comeback with the Falcons in the same year. Koo has a reputation for being able to effectively perform onside kicks, a reputation that he gained while playing
with the Falcons, and for this talent, he was honoured to play in the Pro Bowl in the year 2020.
Additionally, he is the third most accurate placekicker in the NFL. Koo was raised in New Jersey after being born in Seoul, which is located in South Korea.
During his final year at Ridgewood High School, he was honoured with the Most Valuable Player award. Koo’s high school team saw him participate on both the special teams and the defensive units.
